KF Kili Climb 2007

In August of 2007, a group of 13 friends and family, led by Mike Barry, trekked to Tanzania to reach the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, as the group the year before had done. They were inspired by the previous group and their great fundraising efforts, and sought to meet their high level of achievement. Incredibly, not only did all members of the 2007 trip make it to the Summit, but fundraising efforts reached approximately $60,000!

Kilimanjaro was as challenging as predicted, with many cold, sleepless nights and long, tiring days hiking. Although, throughout it all, we had a great time, and a lot of laughs. Take a look at some of the photos from this year in the photo gallery below.

Many thanks go out to all those who have donated to KF and all climbers for their inspiring fundraising efforts. A thanks also goes to African Outdoors Expeditions, especially our brave leader, Justin, who led us to the top of Kili.
